We at Noah's Ark Veterinary Hosptial know how difficult it is for the Rescue's to be able to provide affordable care for a large quantity of animals. We therefore work with a multitude of Rescue organizations to assist them in caring for these pets. We are able to provide quality care knowing that every animal is worth the best we can offer. Our bond with the rescue organizations comes from the compassion of the Veterinarians and staff at Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital.
Noah’s Ark Veterinary Hospital is a unique veterinary hospital in that it provides both primary and emergency care. This flies in the face of tradition in which veterinary practices are either primary general care clinics or specialty/emergency care hospitals. A few primary care clinics provide emergency care. The large majority of primary general veterinary care clinics refer complex and emergency cases to the specialty care hospitals. Noah’s Ark differentiates itself by offering primary and urgent veterinary care. Noah’s Ark’s paradigm provides for matching the complexity of your pet’s situation with the required expertise address it and has the result of improved quality of veterinary care.
Noah’s Ark Veterinary Hospital also recognizes that the medical needs differ for (carrier pets) versus “leashed pets” As a result, Noah’s Ark separates the carrier and leashed pets in dedicated recovery, isolation and treatment There are four wings of the hospital:

The following goals were adopted to establish Noah’s Ark Veterinary Hospital (NAVH) as a high quality provider of small animal internal medicine and surgical care that supports the emergency care also provided:

- Communicate the features that distinguish Noah’s Ark Veterinary Hospital from the existing Veterinary Clinics in the Columbus community
- Full Service Veterinary Hospital - NAVH endeavors to provide the best possible primary and emergency care under one roof. At NAVH your pet benefits from continuity of care based on the consolidation of each patient’s histories.
- No Pet Left Alone Policy - This policy requires around the clock monitoring of hospitalized patients by trained technical staff. At NAVH, your pet's well being is our primary concern. As a result your pet is always being cared for and is never left alone.
- No Patient Turned Away Policy - This is accomplished with a "Walk Right In around the clock 7 days a week" emergency care and pharmacy. Have no fear whether it is during the day, night, weekend or holiday, you have Noah's Ark Veterinary Hospital at your disposal. In the unlikely event that your pet requires more than the considerable capabilities of NAVH, and provided you have executed the appropriate Med Vet admission documents, NAVH will at the client's request, notify the appropriate staff at Med Vet and transport your pet to and from Med Vet. For the cases in which NAVH determines your pet requires very specialized care, NAVH has made Med Vet aware of the development of NAVH. Med Vet looks forward to working with NAVH. In the veterinary world Med Vet would be the equivalent to a premier hospital’s emergency and specialty services for human patients. Noah’s Ark would assume some of the workload of Med Vet by treating those pets less ill or injured.

- Formalize the NAVH emergency care relationship to Med Vet's comprehensive specialty and emergency care capability - NAVH will refer cases to Med vet that require emergency and critical care.

- Noah's Ark Hospital Emergency Care Drive Through - Open 24 hours a day 7 days a week to provide for your pet’s care. You may schedule appointments Monday through Sunday.
